And by "now," I mean go get a copy immediately, it's excellent! Anne Brontë writes a haunting portrait of the slow demise of a marriage between an unapologetic alcoholic and the woman who is determined to be faithful to him. There's intrigue, there's a feminist leaning, and there's the beautiful tension that results from telling a story  in that meandering way that is so foreign to modern society. What more could you ask for?

So, here's a little hint of what's to come as I develop my own line of hand-printed clothes. This scarf is the first thing I like enough to show you! I hope you like it too.
