The weather is finally beautiful out here, and my changeover from shoes to sandals has officially taken place. However, my old, old, old, favourite brown sandals are wildly comfy but literally falling apart. Hi all. After a few weeks of extreme busy-ness, I'm back and apologizing for falling off the facing of the blogging world. I was lucky enough to see them perform at a concert I went to recently, and it was unlike anything I had ever experienced. Enjoy!

Who knew that gorgeous fine jewelry like this could be found on Etsy? These pieces are from Brooklyn-based jewelry designer Blanca Monros Gomez, who works with recycled gold in order to make her business eco-friendly. It's also friendly on the wallet, and since Gomez often takes custom orders, the buyer can have a hand in the creative process as well. All her pieces are beautifully crafted and have a hint of old-world glamour that I really love. I also love that they're available in Gomez's Etsy shop, which you should definitely check out.
